Education

Education is at the heart of everything we do. Each year, we provide:

Secondary School (High-School, A-Levels, or S4-S6)

  • Lunch and school materials for 30 students.
  • Full boarding, tuition, and supplies for 50 students.

Vocational Training

  • Tuition and materials for 6–12 students in welding, tailoring, shoemaking, and masonry.

University Support

  • Living stipends and graduation fees for 7–15 students on government tuition scholarships.

In 2023-24, we proudly celebrated the graduation of 7 students, including:

  • 2 Teachers
  • 2 Nurses
  • 1 Physician’s Assistant
  • 1 Procurement & Logistics Specialist
  • 1 Accountant

Entrepreneurship Training

  • 16 recent high-school graduates receive advanced business training.
  • The top three business plans each year receive financial support.
CATEGORIES WE SUPPORT
ADVANCED LEVEL STUDENTS

We support 80 students annually in secondary school (also called high school, A-Levels, or S4-S6).

  • 30 students receive a lunch and school materials bursary to
  • 50 students receive full boarding support, ensuring they have the resources to focus on their education and succeed.
VOCATIONAL STUDENTS

Each year, 6-12 students in Vocational Training programs, such as Welding, Tailoring, Shoe Making, & Masonry, receive support that includes tuition, training materials, and mentorship. This helps them build practical skills, empowering them to pursue sustainable livelihoods and secure employment opportunities in their chosen fields.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING

We are proud to have graduated our first cohort of 16 Advanced Level students through the Street Business School curriculum. This program is designed to empower students with essential entrepreneurial skills, supporting their personal development, growth, and ability to build sustainable futures.

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

For secondary graduates awarded Government of Rwanda university tuition scholarships, we provide:

  • Monthly living stipends.
  • Graduation and licensing fees (if applicable).
