Amizero Community for Sustainable Development (ACSD)

ACSD Rwanda empowers families to achieve self-sufficiency through education, vocational training, and housing support. Guided by our mission to foster self-reliance and our vision of eradicating poverty through education, we take a holistic approach to uplifting lives.

Each year, we support over 100 students in secondary school, vocational training, and university. Our programs provide tuition, materials, and essential resources to ensure success.

  • Vocational training: Hands-on skills in welding, tailoring, shoemaking, and more.
  • Entrepreneurship: High-school graduates receive business training through the Street Business School curriculum.
  • Community impact: Since 2010, we’ve improved lives through housing rehabilitation, water and sanitation projects, and initiatives like efficient clay stoves.
  • Women’s empowerment: We support young single mothers with vocational training, mentoring, and entrepreneurial opportunities, helping them achieve self-sufficiency.
